The Town of Stanfield maintains Pete Henkel Park within the Town Limits. The Park has 3 baseball/softball fields, basketball court, tennis court, 3 playgrounds, 3 picnic shelters, disc golf, cornhole, horseshoes, and paved and natural walking trails. Residents may contact the Stanfield Youth Athletic Association (SYAA) at STANFIELD_YOUTH@YAHOO.COM for information concerning organized sports in the park or visit www.stanfieldyouth.com.
The Town of Stanfield also maintains the Log Barn Park located at the corner of Hwy 200 and West Stanly Street. Sheltered picnic tables can seat approximately 60 people. The front porch with rockers is good for a rest and a log restroom is on site.
Both parks can be reserved by contacting the Town Hall.
Stanfield School ballfield and Volleyball court are also available to the public for take-a-chance use or by reservation, during non-school hours.
